These instructions are for Microsoft Vista's Windows Mail. The process is similiar for Microsoft XP's Outlook Express and Outlook. For specific instructions on your email program click HERE and select the version you are using.
To begin, you must first Enable POP access in your email account in the settings section of your web mail.
To enable POP in Seark.net:
Sign in to your email account by clicking on the Email link on the main page(www.seark.net).
Once logged in:
Click Settings at the top of the page.
Click Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
Select Enable POP for all mail.
Click Save Changes.
Your account is now ready to be used with your email program. Note: Even after POP is enabled, you can continue to use the Web version of the email at any time.
The next step is to configure your email program.
Open Windows Mail.
Click the Tools menu, and select Accounts...
In the internet accounts box, in the mail tab, remove any email accounts that you do not use or that is no longer any good. For instance, if mail.seark.net is listed, remove it because it no longer will receive your seark.net email.
Then click Add...
Select Email Account, and click Next.
Enter your name as you would like it to appear in the 'From:' field of outgoing messages (e.g. John Smith), and click Next.
Enter your full Seark.net email address e.g. username@seark.net.
Fill in all necessary fields to include the following information:
Incoming mail server type: POP3
